Event Postponed to December 5, 2009

It is with great regret that we have to inform you Carter Gunn Memorial Stressbuster 8K scheduled for November 14, 2009 will be postponed. Due to the impact of the Nor Easter on the trail and the community, we have found it impossible to hold a safe event. We have arranged with Ft. Story to reschedule this event on December 5, 2009 starting at 10 AM. Look for more information to follow.

The Carter Gunn Memorial Stressbuster 8k!

Beat the stress with a trail run through the woods...the grass...and the sand...

The Carter Gunn Memorial STRESSBUSTER 8k is an 8k Cross Country race along historic, scenic & rolling trails and dunes, starting at First Landing Road at Fort Story. The race will be Chronotrack D-tag Timed. The 8k starts at 10:00am, with the children's tot trot starting at 11:15 near the race finish line.

The Carter T. Gunn Fund

All proceeds go to The Carter T. Gunn Fund. The Fund is part of the Vandeventer Black Foundation and is dedicated to fighting depression and to educating the public about mental health.

The Vandeventer Black Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial support to worthy causes in the communities where we live and practice.
