Directions to Fort Story
From Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center take a left onto Shore Drive (Route 60) in an easterly direction to the Ocean Front. You will go past First Landing State Park and the West Gate of Fort Story. You will come to the intersection of Shore Drive and Atlantic Avenue (you know you are getting close when you run over some traffic bumps). You will take a left hand turn onto Atlantic Avenue and travel appr. ¼ mile to the East Gate of Fort Story. You must present a valid ID and your Guest Pass to enter the Fort. You will stay on Atlantic Ave until you see the "Old Cape Henry Lighthouse." At that point, there will be signs and volunteers directing you where to park.
